Built Around Diving, Training & Personal Instruction
Scuba Kinabalu Diving Station (SKDS) was founded to grow the diving community locally and internationally, while developing more safe, skilled and reliable dive professionals to meet the industry's growing demand.
The idea came from a gap in Sabah's diving education landscape, with a lack of Instructor Trainers to develop the next generation of SSI professionals. As an SSI Instructor Trainer, the founder established SKDS to help bridge this gap and has since trained many SSI professionals here in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Today, SKDS is a one-stop centre for scuba diving education, offering a pathway from beginner courses and specialty training to professional-level programmes. What makes the journey meaningful is seeing students progress from fear to confidence, and eventually from divers into educators themselves.

As an SSI Instructor Trainer, I teach scuba diving, certify instructors and develop training programmes that help divers and dive professionals progress with confidence. Based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, I deliver SSI instructor-level training with a strong focus on safety, technical knowledge and practical teaching skills.
I also mentor aspiring instructors through their professional development, helping them meet SSI course standards and become confident, capable dive educators. My approach combines structured training with clear, supportive coaching, creating an inclusive learning environment where candidates can develop their skills and grow within the diving industry.
Beyond instructor training, I am passionate about strengthening the diving community through professional development, environmental awareness and lifelong learning.
